Energy Program Associate
MEIC is seeking an Energy Program Associate.
MEIC has been described by one of our primary opponents, the Montana Mining Association, as “one of the most active and most successful environmental organizations in the state.” The person will lead MEIC in the development and implementation of a science-based program that results in adoption of innovative policies and results in increased conservation of energy and development of renewable sources of energy while significantly reducing the state's dependence on fossil fuel sources of energy. The job includes lobbying at the state legislature, assisting community activists and leaders, and working in collaboration with myriad interests.
This is a permanent, fulltime position based in Helena, one of the West's most beautiful and affordable small cities.
For more information, read the job description, or contact MEIC's Executive Director Jim Jensen or Energy Programs Director Patrick Judge.
