Mary Papoulis"As a mother I aspire to teach my children, who can tell their friends, how to help heal the earth. We forgive those who did not know better the damages of their methods. How embarassing to live in a time when we knowingly allow our habits to continue to destroy the planet that our children inherit. As parents we can help our children to thank those who take the time and effort to develop technology that can promote clean air, clean water, and a healthful environment for generations to come.  As children they will be left to clean up after those who do not take the time to care. As Montanans we are privilaged to live in 'the last best place,' and  fortunate to have and organization like MEIC who works so hard to preserve it!"

~ Mary Papoulis, violinist by trade; mother by heart;
member of Citizens for Clean Energy

Mary's son"If coal plants damage the earth and our health, why do they build them, Mommy?  I am excited to go to kindergarden, but I am really worried about the coal plant."

~ Brian Gemberling, age 6
